UJIA in Hungarian school
Deputy and assistant headteachers of UK Jewish schools have returned from a four day seminar in Budapest organised by the UJIA's educational leadership department.
A record number of participants from 22 primary and secondary schools from London, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester flew to the Hungarian capital to learn and share information and ideas between themselves and their Hungarian counterparts.
The theme for this third seminar was Developing Community, Strengthening Identity and offered various topics including exploring Jewish identity and continuity.
The trip provided an ideal opportunity for the group to bond as well as allowing networking opportunities not just professionally but spiritually, personally and religiously. We look forward to beginning the planning process for next years seminars, said UJIA's Jean Shindler.
