A piece of Chutzpah

This Chanukah saw the launch of Chutzpah. Proclaiming themselves the world's first Jewish hip-hop supergroup, the group members include Master Tav, MC Meshugenah and Dr. Dreck.
Based out of Los Angeles and featuring actor George Segal aka - Dr. Dreck, the group has released a CD - Chutzpah (eponymous)", a DVD - "Chutzpah, This Is?" and are also performing live on stage at theatres in NYC, LA and Houston.
Who is Chutzpah?
Their official answer - the question is best answered - in the tradition of the Jewish people with another question: Who wants to know? For those in the know about the truth behind Jewish Hip Hop, the name has already become legend. For everyone else it is still shrouded in mystery.
Who actually knows? Does it really matter?
These guys are looking to create a media buzz for the Chanukah season and seem to be doing pretty well.
Whats on the CD / DVD?
With track titles like Chanukah's Da Bomb, Superjew and Da Lost Tribe, the CD / DVD includes 12 songs plus a hidden track. The accompanying booklet includes a complete Chutzpah 162 word Jewish/Yiddish glossary and a foreword written by Blondie's Debbie Harry. The DVD stars George Segal, Gary Oldman, Debra Mazar and Vivian Campbell. The disks are released by Jewish record label, Jewish Music Group.
Admittedly when we got the CD and DVD we werent really sure what to make of it. It takes some time before you realise that they are living up to their name and its supposed to be funny. It sounds great and will go down well with a teenage audience. An ideal present for Chutzpah? - Maybe!
Why not judge for your self?
