The 58th Yom Haatzmaut - Israel Independence Day - is being marked in the UK with a special show to take place at London's Wembley Conference Centre.
BBC London radio presenter Vanessa Feltz is to host the From Israel With Love evening which is on May 3 from 7.45pm.
Organised by the Zionist Federation, the evening will offer music and dance as well as an exhibtion of Israeli culture, food and life.
Among those flying over to perform is Israeli Mizrachi superstar Eyal Golan.
"I am delighted to be involved in this event due to my strong connections with Israel," said Feltz. "It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to dedicate my time and energy to what promises to be a truly monumental event with a fantastic line up."
The Zionist Federation believes getting Feltz to host the event is a real scoop. "I am confident that this years Yom Haatzmaut celebrations will be the best ever and that Vanessa will add to the appeal of the show through her own particular brand of wit and humour," said Zionist federation chairman Alan Aziz.
