Jewish Princess Challenge
Hayley Goldenberg has been crowned Jewish Princess by winning the vote for British Emunah's Jewish Princess Challenge.
The vote, which cost £1 by text has helped Emunah to raise upwards of £500,000 to help children in Israel.
As a contestant in the challenge, Hayley along with 15 other women, subjected herself to a 10 day adventure in Israel that saw them ride camels, go on 4x4 vehicles, visit Jerusalem, prepare a shabbos meal from scratch in the desert as well as seeing some of the children Emunah helps.
Hayley, married with two children, studied at Manchester University and qualified as a special needs teacher. She is active with a number of children's organisations including The Association for Research into Stammering in Childhood.
In order to take part, each 'princess' had to raise £15,000 in sponsorship. The women ranged in age from their 20s to 50s and were divided into teams. The winning team consisted of Lisa Ronson, Rochelle Hope, Leah Nevies, Zara Brooks and Amanda Cline.
