In a bid to increase its revenues, TotallyJewish.com publisher Totally plc has formed a joint venture to launch a new website to target the Greek community.

In a five year deal with London Greek Radio (LGR), the new Greek site is based around the existing site and design of TotallyJewish.

As well as news and features in English and Greek, the site also offers an online dating service powered by the technology of Totally's own dating site TotallyJewish Dating.

In a statement, the two companies say the size of the UK's Greek community is similar to that of the Jewish community.

"The launch of the new LGR portal demonstrates our ability to use our proprietary technology and online publishing expertise to successfully target other niche communities, thus building new revenue streams and creating long term value," said Totally plc chief executive Steve Burns. "We expect to announce the launch of further joint venture sites in the very near future."
