Artist Michael Rogatchi, who left the Soviet Union at the end of the 1980s to live in Finland has a collection of his paintings being exhibited in London.
Under the theme, "Dream, Memory, Love" at the Etz Chayim Gallery in Northwood & Pinner Liberal Synagogue, north west London, art enthusiasts will get a chance to see his work until June 27.
The work, which has already toured Europe, examines Jewish life and how Jews and other oppressed people in the 20th and 21st century are reflected in art.
Museums and galleries in over 14 countries have added Rogatchis work to their permanent collections. In Britain this includes Londons Ben Uri Gallery, which owns two of his paintings.
