A new group aimed at young Jewish professionals between the ages of 25 and 40 has been launched by UJIA and has attracted over 80 people to its first event.

As well as networking with each other, the group aims to help raise money for UJIA's work both in the UK and Israel.

The first event, which raised over £4000 saw a panel of business people included Andy Rubin, CEO of Pentland Brands and Anthony Plaskow, CEO OF Easyodds.com debate talk about The Secret of Our Success.

"Through The Business Forum we hope to create a strong but informal network of young Jewish professionals from all industry backgrounds," said Mark Gross, co-chair of The Business Forum. "We aim to create an environment in which people can share their experiences and ideas, develop their business skills and benefit from a real service providing both networking opportunities and practical business skills development which are relevant across different industry sectors."

The Business Forum's next event is planned for September.
