As Israeli soldiers fight in the frontline in the defence of their country, British Jews are being asked to help those who are injured or killed in action. Since 1980, the Libi Fund has been helping soldiers and their families.
"We offer a full range of support services to anyone who is in the IDF and needs help," said a Libi Fund spokesperson.
Among recent projects include the setting up of a fitness centre for soldiers, providing Passover services for those without family and providing financial assistance to those who need it.
"Our aim is to help the soldiers who are helping the country and we are calling on the Jewish community throughout the world to offer whatever help they can offer to us which we can direct to the soldiers and their families," the spokesperson added.
