Israel has continued its quest to play in Euro 2008 by beating Andorra 4-1.
West Ham player and captain of Israel, Yossi Benayoun led the country to victory by scoring the first goal of the night at the match which was played in the Dutch town of Nijmegen.
The win means Israel now has six points from two games.
The match took place in the Netherlands as a result of UEFA deciding to ban all matches from taking place in Israel due to conflict in Lebanon and only a handful of Israeli fans were able to make it.
EUEFA says it will consider lifting the ban later this month following the recent ceasefire in the region.
""I hope UEFA will overturn the decision, because at the moment life is comfortable and calm in Israel," said Israel coach Dror Kashtan. " "I'd like to see the Croatian team, or English or Russian national team, forced to play a game with no fans," he added.
