The makers of Channel 4's popular reality TV show Wife Swap are looking to embrace some cultural and religious diversity for a new series.

Finding a suitable Jewish family to be featured in the hit TV programme as well as other groups has become a priority according to Wife Swap production company RDF Media as it wishes to show how different groups can learn from each other.

Wife Swap, which has become synonymous with internal fighting and tantrums is looking to turn a corner.

"We are not looking for conflict this year but learning and teaching in all the shows," Emma Taylor of RDF Media told SomethingJewish.

"We are looking for families of differing cultures and religions in order that we can start to represent Britain as the multi-cultural society that it so clearly is. I am particularly interested in featuring a Jewish family on the show and feel that it is time that each and every religion and culture is highlighted in a positive and energetic light on TV," she added.

As well as getting the chance to appear on TV, a fee will also be paid.

If you are interested in taking part, you can contact Emma Taylor at RDF Media by email: emma.taylor@rdfmedia.com or telephone: 0207 013 4565.
