Israel Expo 2006
Over 7,000 people braved adverse weather on Sunday to attend the annual Israel Expo which took place at Brent Town Hall in north west London.
Organised by the Zionist Federation, the event featured a taste of Israel from its foods through to opportunities to live in the country.
The organisers say the event helps connect the UK Jewish community with Israelis living in the country.
"Today has been a huge success with record numbers of attendees," said Zionist Federation director Alan Aziz. "The ZF are grateful to all those exhibitors and attendees who continue to work with us to ensure Israel is supported and valued within the UK."
As well as exhibitors offering products to buy, eat and drink including jewellery, falafel and wine, the Expo featured live entertainment from Lior Suchard who showed the crowd his mind reading and paranormal skills.
"The Expo gave me the chance to further my UK profile and the audience and whole atmosphere was fantastic," said Suchard.
