Thousands of people are expected to attend the first ever dedicated event to kosher eating which takes place next month at Alexandra Palace in north London next month.
Kosherexpo 2007 on Sunday February 11 will be open to both the trade as well as the public.
According to the organisers, the day will see over 40 exhibitors taking part with food and wine tasting as well as cookery demonstrations by kosher guru Denise Phillips.
All proceeds from the door will go to Israeli charity Meir Panim which helps to feed the hungry. The organisers hope the day will become a regular fixture of the Jewish calendar.
"The main aims are to provide a great day out for the community, raise funds for a very worthwhile food related cause and promote kosher food and demonstrate the ease within the UK today of keeping kosher," said spokeswoman Hannah Boyden.
