International Jewish Artists Of The Year Awards
Jewish artists from around the world are being invited to submit their work for the third annual International Jewish Artists Of The Year Awards, organised by the London based Ben Uri Gallery.
Categories include Sculpture, Paintings and New Media and there are two age groups, under and over 26's.
Six finalists from each category will be chosen by the judges, and from these one finalist from each category will compete for the main International Jewish Artist of the Year award. The winning artists will share in £5000 worth of prize money.
"Over 800 submissions from 15 countries were received for the previous competition and we are confident similar numbers and even higher standards will be achieved this year," said Ben Uri chairman David Glasser. "Ben Uri offers this valuable opportunity to artists from around the world as part of its community programme: to encourage artists of promise as well as reward established international Jewish artists
Finalists will have their work put on public display at auctioneers Christies in Central London, from 25-29 March, with the winners announced on the final day.
Those wishing to take part need to submit their entries by 12 February.
