2006 RSY-Netzer tour
For the first time in six years, British Reform Jewish youth group RSY-Netzer are sending four full tours to Israel.
This year, 128 places to spend time in Israel during the summer has been filled with only a few places remaining.
The increase compares to RSY-Netzer sending just three tours in 2006.
We are delighted that our tours are full. This is a real sign that young British Jews are ready to re-engage with Israel, and that our leadership training programme reaffirms our members on-going commitment to Reform Zionism and the Israeli people," said Diane Freeman, leader of RSY-Netzer.
As well as the teens having a summer break, RSY-Netzer says there has also great interest in its gap year programmes with 15 young adults already committed to spending a year out in Israel from September 2007.
