Russian business tycoon Roman Abramovich has once again emerged as the richest Jew in Britain. According to the annual Sunday Times Rich List, Abramovich, who made his fortune from oil is said to be worth £10.8bn.

The Chelsea Football Club owner is also the second wealthiest person in Britain, behind steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal who is worth over £19 billion.

Islamic Art collector and property owner Nasser D Khalili is worth £5.8bn and Britain's 5th wealthiest person. Born 1945 in Iran, Khalili left the country for the United States in 1967 before settling in the UK. He is founder and chairman of the Maimonides Foundation, which promotes peace and understanding between Jews and Muslims.

Retail tycoon Sir Philip Green and his wife Lady Green are worth £4.9bn and come in at number seven.

Property developers David and Simon Reuben are ninth with a worth of £3.4bn.

Outside of the top 10, both well known and very private Jewish people are making millions according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

Foreign exchange dealing has seen Joe Lewis make his billions which currently stand at £2.8bn.

South African-born Clive Calder, 61, founder of Zomba Music Group who sold his record company to Bertelsmann is worth £1.3bn.

Finn Poju Zabludowicz who owns property in London and Las Vegas is worth £2bn.

Media tycoon Richard Desmond who owns OK magazine as well as Express Newspapers comes in at £1.9bn.

Mark Pears along with his family are worth £1.5bn through the William Pears Family Holdings which has various property interests.

Brothers Eddie and Sol Zakay through their Topland property company are worth £1.5bn.

River Island clothing retailer Bernard Lewis is said to be worth £1.48bn.

Benzion Freshwater and family through their property interests are worth £1.3bn.

Online casino owners and husband and wife Russell De Leon and Ruth Parasol have a worth of £856m.

Property brothers Vincent and Robert Tchenguiz are worth £850m.

Sir Alan Sugar through electronics and property is worth £830m.

Property owner Leo Noe and family have a worth of £750m.
