Myleene Klass and Graham Quinn
I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here star Myleene Klass has become a patron of the Jewish founded drugs charity Drugsline.
Along with her fiancé Graham Quinn, the pop singer turned classical ivory tinkler will be supporting the work of the east London-based organisation which recently expanded its range of services to ethnic minorities.
We are thrilled to welcome Myleene and Graham on board and extremely excited to work with them both," said Rabbi Aryeh Sufrin, executive director of Drugsline. "Drugsline has made a tremendous impact throughout our 16 years and we have grown dramatically in the last 12 months. The appointment of our first patrons marks a milestone in our continued progress.
The couple plan to play an active role in raising awareness of the pitfalls of drugs and help Drugsline further expand its work.
"Graham and I both feel very strongly that it is essential young people are fully aware of the consequences of drug abuse and the ease in which it is possible to be trapped by the attraction of experimenting with drugs," said Klass.
Quinn, who himself has been in trouble with drugs commented: "Like a lot of young people, I believed that occasional drug use would never be a problem; just a bit of fun with little danger of getting sucked in and becoming addicted. Now I appreciate that in reality, you dont always have that kind of control."
