A former member of boy band Northern Line has become the second Jewish person to enter Big Brother and says he's in it to win.
26-year-old Zachary Lichman, who was known as Zak in the band, and today is a model with the name Ziggy entered Channel 4's Big Brother on Friday night.
The previous Jewish Big Brother contestant was Justine Sellman who appeared during the 2003 series.
"No one remembers those who come in second place," he says. "I've been taught to win."
Lichman, whose middle name is Sami, hit the big time with Northern Line in the late 90s with the top 20 hit Love On The Northern Line.
Since the demise of Northern Line, Lichman has been busy with his modelling career as well as production work. He has also completed a training course to be a broker.
His love life has also been the subject of tabloid interest with stories of him dating former Hear'say singer Suzanne Shaw.
The former Haberdashers pupil currently lives in Totteridge in north west London with his parents and when not modelling is a keen football fan. In 2006, he played goalie for Jewish football team Southgate Harmen.
