Jewish Big Brother contestant Zachary Ziggy Lichman has faced his first challenge on the reality show, and one of the toughest any Jew can endure - unlimited food but of the non-kosher variety.
The 26-year-old former boyband member had to have dinner with each of his fellow female housemates, and had to finish each of the 11 courses he was served the first of which was ham and asparagus.
Lichman, who has played as a goalie in the Jewish Football League, also tucked into a course of prawn cocktail as he chatted to housemate Carole.
A Jewish pal of the North-West Londoner said: "Ziggy will do anything to win Big Brother, and if that means eating treif, then so be it. He knows you can only come first. Anything else doesnt matter and hes mentally prepared for any challenge."
