On the Road with US Community Breakfasts
Last updated: 2003-05-13
The Community Development Group of the United Synagogue recently organised a series of thought provoking On the Road with US breakfasts in the United Synagogue regions.
The purpose of these breakfasts was to share information and develop and enhance the existing regional networks.
Over 250 lay leaders took part in these mornings representing the regional groupings, Essex, Herts and N W Middx. Exciting and stimulating workshops were organised during the morning and included topics such as local Jewish Education needs, the range of work carried out by London Beth and Office of the Chief Rabbi, Volunteering, Community Asset Management as well as a discussion on the need for the New Singers Prayer book.
The Chief Executive Rabbi Saul Zneimer gave an insight to the United Synagogue Strategic Review and Tribe, the new Young United Synagogue department, was showcased.
A comprehensive evaluation booklet has been produced detailing all workshops and contacts.
