A delegation of United Synagogue workers have returned from a week-long trip to Israel as part of a training programme to improve and enhance their leadership skills.
The Champions Of Change delegation saw participants visiting a number of top Israeli political and religious leaders including Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, founder of Ohr Torah Stone Network. The group also visited UJIA initiatives supported by various United Synagogue communities.
Champions of Change, which is run by the Community Division of the United Synagogue aims to deliver better leadership skills to its network of synagogues across the UK.
"This Israel Seminar highlights the United Synagogue's commitment to invest in its future. By developing this cadre of leaders, the United Synagogue will be better able to meet the challenges and needs of its next generation of members," said Samuel Klein, Champions of Change director.
