Art from well known artists as well as celebrities is going under the hammer to benefit a Jewish charity that supports children and adults with learning disabilities with hopes that more than £100,000 will be raised.
Veteran actress Maureen Lipman artistic work along with that of Beryl Cook, David Breuer-Weil and more than 20 other artists will be auctioned on November 1.
A total of 47 pieces will be on sale at MacDougall Auction Rooms with minimum bid price of some pieces starting from £600. Bargain Hunt and Cash in the Attic TV presenter David Palmer will host the auction.
"We are extremely proud to have such an exciting collection of art that has been donated by so many well-known artists, celebrities and even some by our very own at Kisharon," said David Goodman, executive director. "We are indeed thankful for the generous contributions that have made this charity auction possible and look forward to all the pieces finding happy homes."
