UK Jewish Film Festival
Nearly 10,000 people have attended the annual UK Jewish Film Festival in London which saw 43 films screened in London across 11 cinemas in the capital. According to the organisers, the number was up by 30% on the previous year and is its highest ever.
The festival, which started off in Brighton on the south coast has grown to become the leading event of its kind in the UK.
We have put a huge amount of work into our programme this year to try and attract more new people to the UKJFF," said festival director Judy Ironside. "The challenge for us was to maintain our integrity as a festival which shows thought-provoking films whilst also trying to widen our appeal."
The festival will now be going on tour across the UK from January.
