The United Synagogue is moving its Burial Society division from its current home at Finchley Synagogue, north west London to a dedicated office in Bushey Cemetery in Hertfordshire.
With over 1000 burials and stone settings each year, the Burial Society is the largest in Europe.
The move will also see a new phoneline for the public to call and get support from the Society.
“Improvements in technology will enable the Burial Society to provide an even better service to people at a difficult time," said United Synagoue head of burial Melvyn Hartog. "The new systems and enhanced facilities will augment the Burial Society’s infrastructure providing increased support to our members.”
