A road rally starting in London will end in Jerusalem, where two participants will make aliyah. Twenty-five classic and contemporary cars are taking part in the 18-day London to Jerusalem Car Rally, launched Sunday morning from central London's Waterloo Place.
Driving along a 2,500-mile route, the cars will cross the English Channel to France and from there to Switzerland, Italy and Greece.
Two of the participants - Yaniv Cohen, 26, of Manchester, and Alexander Singer, 28, of London, driving a '48 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith - will make aliyah upon their arrival with help from the group Nefesh B'Nefesh.
The rally is sponsored by the JNF. Among the participating cars are a '23 Buick Model 54 Sports Roadster and a '54 Cadillac Eldorado convertible.
