Jewish Big Brother contestant Rex Newmark is hoping to win his way to his fellow contestants' stomachs - by cooking for them while they are in the house.
The 24-year-old son of restaurateur Robert Newmark, Newmark Jr has made a name for himself by operating some of the family jewels. He is head chef at Beach Blanket Babylon, which has branches in Notting Hill and Shoreditch in East London.
"My job is to be a professional bully - people always tell me to stop being aggressive," Rex has said. He claims that all the girls he meets fall for him, and particularly has a penchant for blondes.
The Hampstead native - who has brothers called Dexter and Brett - is one of only a handful of Jewish housemates to have taken part in the series. Others have included former boy band member Ziggy Lichman and Leeds-born Justine Selman.
