A bingo night organised by the Manchester Committee of humanitarian organisation World Jewish Relief (WJR) has raised £1,800.
The two-fat ladies themed night saw more than 80 people attend the Maccabi Centre to take part and bring the total raise since 2003 to £100,000 to support the work of WJR.
"The bingo night was another great success for the Manchester committee following a run of impressive events," said Paul Stein, head of fundraising and communications at WJR. "We are extremely grateful for the committees ongoing efforts and commitment to WJR; their support is critical."
