A group of 22 young Poles in their 20's who recently discovered their Jewish roots have completed a special seminar in Jerusalem to learn more about their Jewish history, culture and religion.
The participants came from a number of cities in Poland including Krakow, Lodz and Warsaw.
The special three week program was organised by Shavei Israel, a group set up to help strengthen ties between Israel and descendants of Jews around the world.
"We plan to continue organizing similar seminars next year as well, in the hope that it will lead to a strengthening of Jewish life in Poland and ensure that the younger generation of Polish Jews remains connected to their Jewish heritage," said founder Michael Freund.
