An Israeli dessert wine produced only from pomegrantes is to be introduced to the UK market from October.
Made by the Rimon Winery in Israel's Upper Galilee, it takes 10 months of aging to give the pomegranate wine its unique taste and character.
The winery, owned by the Nachmias family, has been producing pomegrante wine since 2003 and recenrly expanded the range to include dry and port wine.
The popular dessert wine is best served chilled and paired up with puddings or soft cheese.
The wine will be sold through Waitrose for around £14.
