Uk Jewish Film Festival
|
As the Uk Jewish Film Festival ends its season in Leeds on March 14, SomethingJewish has two pairs of tickets to The Secrets, the closing night film which takes place at Cottage Road Cinema in Headingley.
The Secrets from Israeli maverick Avi Nesher tells the story of devout Naomi who dreams of becoming the first female rabbi and quickly establishes herself as the seminary boffin, to the annoyance of cosmopolitan Michelle who arrives from France chain-smoking moodily. But the two become closer when they help dying outcast Anouk with a series of Tikunim - Kabbalistic rituals to cleanse Anouk’s murky past - while making discoveries about their own sexuality and debating their future as orthodox women.
To win a pair a tickets, answer the following question.
