American actress Lisa Edelstein has become the latest celebrity to star in an advert for animal rights group PETA.
The 44-year-old, best known for her role in the long-running US drama House, appears naked in the pro-vegetarian poster lying on top of a bed of greens.
And as well as promoting the vegetarian lifestyle, the actress is also promoting the ad's eco-friendly message 'eat green to go green', saying that being vegetarian is also good for the environment.
"A vegetarian diet is a really important part of what we need to do to help the environment," Edelstein said in an PETA US interview. "The meat industry is really toxic to the environment."
The actress added: "I like to encourage people to be a vegetarian once a week and then maybe twice a week, because that makes such an enormous impact for the whole world that it's really valuable for everyone. So I'm just trying to push that campaign forward - with my body, apparently."
In posing for PETA, Edelstein follows in the footsteps of a string of other Jewish stars who have promoted the group, including actor Joaquin Phoenix and actress Alicia Silverstone.
