Livingstone to get new role

British Jewish soldiers are set to get a new army chaplain with the appointment of the chairman of a Muslim-Jewish interfaith group.
South African-born Rabbi Reuben Livingstone is to replace Rabbi Arnold Saunders who become chaplin in 2009 and steped down this year.
Rabbi Livnigstone was previously rabbi for Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue and left after 11 years in 2010. Since then he been running the office for small communities for the Chief Rabbi as well as being chair of The Imams and Rabbis Council of the United Kingdom.
