Two Jewish communal organisations are said to be in talks which could lead them to sharing a building.

According to the Jewish Chronicle, The Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Leadership Council have said they are in early stages of discussions which could lead them to share premises

Currently, the Board has a building in Bloomsbury Square, central London while the JLC has an office in Hendon.

"There are obvious advantages in terms of efficiency and economy," JLC chief executive Jeremy Newmark told The Jewish Chronicle. "Bringing the operations of the two central communal bodies closer together in this way would also enhance the daily collaboration between the lay and professional leadership of the Board and the JLC.”

According to the Jewish Chronicle, one possible location being considered in Camden in north west London.
