Board President gets Euro Chair role

Vivian Wineman, The President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, has been elected as Chairman of the Council of the European Jewish Congress following a vote in Brussels.
The EJC represents 42 Jewish communities across Europe and North Africa.
In the vote for President oF the EJC, Moshe Kantor was re-elected.
Wineman reveled that he was: “Pleased to be elected to this office given the EJC’s increasingly important and effective role in protecting the rights of Jews in Europe. I am looking forward to working with the President Moshe Kantor on the vital tasks ahead.”
