Conservative party leader Michael Howard has revealed the team which he hopes will help the Tories win the next general election.
Advertising guru Lord Maurice Saatchi shares the post of co-chairman of the party while Oliver Letwin takes up the post of shadow chancellor.
"When Michael asked me to take on this job my immediate reaction was 'fantastic'," said Lord Saatchi. "I am really honoured and I am determined to make this a great success for our party and above all our country."
Lord Saatchi will share his role with Dr Liam Fox and Howard believes the spitting of the role will allow both men to deliver a more effective message.
"These changes will enable us to use the pool of talent we have more efficiently, in order to take our case out to the country and show how Conservative policies can provide a creative, workable and, above all, effective alternative to a failing Labour Government," he said.
Howard, who has Romanian roots, is the first Jewish leader of the Conservative party in over 100 years.
