The editor of the University of York's student newspaper was crowned the best student writer at this year's Guardian Student Media Awards.
Robert Harris, 21, who edits York Vision won an award for Student Newspaper of the Year, Student Reporter of the Year and Student Journalist of the Year.
Harris, who comes from Manchester was born into a journalism family. His father, Paul is editor of the regional Jewish Telegraph series of newspapers which were founded by Harris' grandparents.
Harris entered a number of his articles including one that examined a campus health centre.
The judges were impressed by his work saying he "produced a story worthy of any national and told it with flair and verve, demonstrating excellent reporting skills."
