Ask The Rabbi
Question ?
I would like to know the significance of circling each other under the chupa and stamping on a glass?

Answer:
The bride cirles the groom to show that she is now his home. The glass breaking is the sadness that we feel, in the midst of our joy, at the loss of the Temple in Jerusalem, and our current state of exile.
