Jew Year's honours
The former head of music on BBC radio is among a number of members of the Jewish community who have been recognised in The Queen's New Year's Honours. Jenny Abramsky, who retired from the BBC during the summer, is to be made a Dame.

Kaufman gets another term
Flo Kaufman, the vice president of the Board of Deputies has been re-elected to chairman of the Council of the European Jewish Congress (EJC). As well as Kaufman keeping her role, EJC president Moshe Kantor was also re-elected for another term.
